Former Aviation Minister, Hon. Hassan Hyet, has been declared winner of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Kaduna State election for another four year tenure, as State Chairman.
In a keenly contested election held at the Kaduna International Trade Fair Complex site, Hyet won with 1,970 votes against his opponent, Ashafa Waziri who pulled 471 votes during the State congress held between Saturday and Monday morning.
In an interview with newsmen, he thanked the entire members for the confidence reposed on him and promised to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, led El-rufai government in 2023.
