Hajj 2025: Kano Pilgrims Board To Work With Kano Line For Successful Transportation – DG

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, says the Board will work in synergy with Kano state Transport Authority, (Kano Line).
Danbappa made this known while receiving the management and committee of the Kano State Transport Authority ( Kano Line ) in his office.
In a Press statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Public relations officer of the Board Sulaiman A. Dederi, Danbappa maintained that “Before assuming office, we made a commitment in the presence of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to work closely with all government agencies related to the Pilgrims Welfare Board.
He assured that the Board will collaborate with Kano Line for the upcoming Hajj operations, stressing that all necessary requirements for the transportation of pilgrims would be presented in advance to ensure Kano Line is well-prepared ahead of time.
Earlier, the Managing Director of Kano State Transport Authority (Kano Line), Alhaji Sa’idu Abdullahi Shu’aibu, said their visit to the Pilgrims Welfare Board was aimed at reviving the long-standing relationship between Kano Line and the Board.
Alhaji Sa’idu Abdullahi further reiterated his commitment to revitalising the state’s transportation sector in line with the government’s vision of elevating Kano State to greater heights.
He expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from the Board and pledged that Kano Line would be well-organised and fully prepared for the Hajj operations.
