Gombe State immediate-past Commissioner of Information, Alhassan Ibrahim Kwami on Monday dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.
The defection took place at the state PDP secretariat along Bauchi Road in Gombe, where the ex-commissioner was presented with the PDP membership card.
Kwami was among the 21 first set of Commissioners sworn in by Governor Inuwa Yahaya in November 2019, and posted to the State ministry of information.
Early March, 2021, Governor Yahaya, dropped three commissioners in a minor cabinet reshuffle including Mr Kwami.
