The wife of the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri has decorated her Escort Commander, Bala Bakams, with the badges of his new Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank.
He was decorated on Monday, August 14th, 2023 amids an aura of distinction and camaraderie witnessed by Her excellency’s entourage and security personnel present for the decoration ceremony held at the Government House in Kano.
Aisha Misa and Comfort Gadzama, who assisted Hajiya Lami Fintiri during the event.
Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri congratulated him on his achievement and encouraged him to continue discharging his duties passionately while upholding the ethics and rules of his profession.
She said, “This promotion was seen as a recognition for ASP Bakams’ hard work, dedication, commitment, and patriotism.
“The journey of ASP Bala Bakams from being a sergeant to an ASP is a testament to his dedication and hard work in serving the community. His promotion through the ranks demonstrates the acknowledgement of his abilities and devotion to upholding law and order”.
ASP Bala Bakams expressed his gratitude to the Governor and his wife for the opportunity to serve under their Government as well as the blessings he has received since joining Governor Fintiri and his wife.
He stated that he initially joined Government House as a sergeant, and, rose through the ranks to inspector.
Bakkams said Governor Ahmadu Fintiri decorated him and his wife has now as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in recognition of his achievements by bestowing honours on him.
