Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has celebrated former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha as a worthy son of Adamawa State who served the nation and his people.
The Governor who spoke at a Thanksgiving organized in Boss Mustapha’s honour in Yola described his tenure as the SGF has been a testament to his unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and remarkable vision.
According to him, the former SGF had throughout his tenure, worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth functioning of the government and the effective coordination of its various arms.
He said, “Under his guidance, we have witnessed significant strides in the implementation of policies and programs that have had a profound impact on the lives of Nigerians.
“One cannot forget the crucial role played by Boss Mustapha as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. During one of the most challenging times in our nation’s history, his stewardship was instrumental in leading Nigeria’s response to the global pandemic.
“His unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our citizens has undoubtedly saved countless lives and helped mitigate the spread of the virus.
“As we reflect on Boss Mustapha’s tenure, it is important to acknowledge his integrity, professionalism, and passion for public service. He has exemplified the qualities of a true leader, consistently prioritizingthe nation’s interest above all else”.
Governor Fintiri said, Mustapha’s dedication to the pursuit of good governance and his tireless efforts in ensuring transparency and accountability have set a high standard for others to follow.
The Governor appreciated former l President Muhammadu Buharifor entrusting Boss Mustapha with the crucial responsibility of serving as the SGF.
He added, “His confidence in Boss Mustapha’s abilities has been well-placed, and together they have laid a solid foundation for the progress and development of our great nation.
“Today, as we gather here in this sacred place of worship, let us offer our gratitude for the successes achieved during Boss Mustapha’s tenure.
