Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has stressed the need for the State PDP to reconsile with the aggrieved members of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Governor who made the call at the inauguration of a reconciliatory committee on Monday at the Government House Bauchi, says the move will unite the party members especially those who lost during primary elections and make PDP more stronger.
Bauchi Governor who explained that PDP is being commended for championing the course of internal democracy, charged the committee to reach out all relevant stakeholders to with a view to settling all the pending issues surrounding the recent Party’s Primaries.
While expressing satisfaction with the commitment of the state PDP officials, the Governor also urged the aggrieved members to cooperate with the committee for the overall development of the party.
Earlier the state PDP Chairman Hamza Koshe Akuyam expressed confidence with the party’s ability to emerge victorious in all elective positions considering what he described as credible candidates it produced.
The twenty two member committee which has Senator Bala Adamu Kariya as chairman is to submit the report in four weeks.
