Jigawa State Chapter of Fulani Socio-Cultural Organisation, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has commended Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar for what he has been doing for the socio-economic development of Fulanis in the state.
Chairman of the organisations in the state, Umar Kabir Dubantu states this while speaking to our reporter in Dutse.
He said that, Governor Badaru was the foremost governor in Nigeria that participated fully and contributed in boosting the welfare of Fulanis in the area of education and economy.
Dubantu said, the governor had contributed alot to fulani education by constructing 260 Nomadic schools and established, 11 Junior Nomadic Secondary Schools and 360 Fulani adult education centres across the 27 local government areas of the state.
He added that, he has also provided educational facilities packages for Fulani children’s which include free tuition fee for both girls and boys in Nomadic Secondary Schools .
The Fulani leader further informed that, fulani disable children and albinos were among the beneficiaries and were provided with under badaru administration with medicines and bicycles to ease their daily and educational activities.
Dubantu further added that, the jigawa state governor has provided water to fulani communities under the Habanaye Naganaye projects by constructing 90 boreholes at various fulani settlements.
He said, there is a plan now to construct over 270 boreholes in other nomadic settlements before the end of his administration in 2023.
