Sokoto State Governor, Dr Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Muhammed Bello Sifawa and Chief of Staff, Government House,Aminu Haliru Dikko.
This was contained in a statement by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Bawa on Wednesday which quoted him charging the appointees shortly after the administration of oath of office to the new appointees to run an open door policy in the discharge of their duties.
He said the administration’s 9-point agenda is geared towards improving the living condition of the people of the state and therefore, charged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their new ardous assignments.
He said, “You all have a greater role to play in in actualizing our much needed growth and development for our dear state”.
Governor Aliyu further reminded the appointees that their selection was based purely on merit and charged them to put in their best to add value to his administration.
The Governor also called on civil servants in the state to give the new appointees the necessary support and cooperation in the discharge of their assignment.
According to the statement, the swearing in ceremony was witnessed by many dignitaries from across the state.
