Gombe Residents Loot Food Items Branded With Seyi Tinubu’s Name

Residents of Gombe on Sunday hijacked and looted a trailer conveying cartons of food items branded with the name of the president Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu.
The truck was overpowered at one of the popular junctions known as old Bauchi motor park, along Gombe-Bauchi road.
DAYLIGHT REPORTERS learnt that the fully loaded truck was conveying food items meant to be distributed by Nigeria’s first son when he visits the state.
In a video that went viral on various social media platforms, the contents of the cartons include small bags of rice, macaroni, sugar, salt, and bottle of cooking oil.
Seyi Tinubu was scheduled to visit Gombe last week in continuation of his nationwide tour but it was later cancelled for an undisclosed reason.
