Hon. Adamu A Musa, member representing Nafada South Constituency in Gombe State House of Assembly has resigned his membership of the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
His resignation was conveyed in a letter addressed to Birin Fulani ward PDP Chairman and dated March 6, 2022.
“I have by this letter resigned my membership of the party”, the letter read.
This newspaper reports that Gombe State House of Assembly is witnessing a gale of decampments sweeping across the two major political parties in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
All efforts to speak with Hon. Adamu proved abortive as all his mobile numbers have been switched but the Director Press Affairs to Governor Yahaya, Ismail Misilli has posted on his Facebook confirming the defection of the lawmaker to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
In February, two members of the House, Hon. Rambi Ayala and Hon Samuel Markus Wina dumped the ruling APC and joined the opposition PDP.
