Former LG Chairman In Bauchi Shot By Police

A former chairman of Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Danlami Alhassan has been shot on the head by a police officer, sustaining injury.
According to reports, Alhassan was shot by an unknown officer around 9:30 PM near the Wunti Market Flyover in the state capital.
Our source revealed that fortunately, he sustained only a minor bullet graze on his head and was treated at a hospital before returning home.
He, however, said the motive behind the attack is still unclear.
But the Zone 12 headquarters in Bauchi hosting the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of police have confirmed that the shooting was done by one of its personnel, promising to investigate the matter.
