Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Appoints New Registrar

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has announced the appointment of Kasimu Salihu as its new Registrar.
This appointment, along with those of Sama’una Nuhu as Bursar and Yusuf Garba Sintali as Polytechnic Librarian, followed approval by the Governing Council of the Polytechnic.
According to the Assistant Chief Public Relations Officer of the polytechnic, Tanimu Ibrahim Gambo, the appointment of Salihu as Registrar was in view of his extensive experience within the polytechnic.
He said the polytechnic believes that his expertise will undoubtedly enhance the operational efficiency of the institution.
“The new Registrar, Alhaji Kasimu Salihu, an indigene of Bauchi local government area, brings extensive experience from various roles within the polytechnic, including serving as Academic Secretary at the polytechnic’s Directorate of University Affiliations and Linkages and his latest role in the Directorate of Career Services.”, he said.
The Assistant Chief Public Relations Officer noted that the appointments are for a single tenure of five years and are with immediate effect.
