Former Minister of Transport and one time Minister of Youth and Sport Development, Yusuf Suleiman, has joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Saturday evening.
The former minister was one of the defected chieftains of APC that would be formally received on Sunday by the running mate of PDP presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa in Sokoto.
Suleiman obtained his PDP card at his Sokoto residence from the state PDP chairman, Bello Goronyo, and the chairman of the party in his local government area of Isa, Garba Yusuf.
The former minister was one of the chieftains of APC that aspired for its governorship ticket during the last primary election.
They were defeated by the immediate past Executive Secretary of the Police Trust Fund and former deputy Governor of the state, Ahmed Aliyu.
