Jigawa State Governor yesterday during the NGF Meeting in Kaduna,
The Governor of Jigawa State Muhammad Badaru Abubakar Said, the state is doing well and that there is no cause for alarm.
The Governor stated this while reacting to questions from Journalists on Thursday during the Northern Governors Forum Meeting held in the Government House.
According to him, the ENDSARS Protests in some parts of the country does not affect the state.
He further stated that the state has those “for” and “against” the disbandment of the SARS Operatives and have submitted their proposals to the Government and they will look into it.
“In Jigawa, we don’t have problem. We have those that are in support of the disbandment of SARS, we also have those that are against it. They have submitted their proposals for us and we are still looking into it. Jigawa is peaceful and will continue to remain peaceful.” He said
The ENDSARS Protests has gained momentum for some weeks now in most parts of the country, leading to the destruction of lives and properties, despite the order from the government to scrap the unit.
