Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has been commended by the consumers for constant electricity supply at both rural and urban settlements in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states which is another landmark achievement by the company.
Speaking to our correspondent in a series of interaction, residents from Karofi in Katsina State, Doko in Jigawa State and Dawakin Tofa in Kano State said that KEDCO has certainly improved its services to the people at both rural and urban areas where 24 hours electricity supply is being enjoyed despite all challenges.
Malam Abubakar Karofi said that ” we enjoy good power supply and we appreciate how Kano Electricity Distribution Company is making good impact on power supply, and we are certain that in the near future, we would have uninterrupted power supply because the company is trying “. He said.
Similarly, Alhaji Muhammad Doko from Jigawa State called on the consumers to pay their bills regularly in order to enable the company to boost power supply especially at present when the demand in electricity is also increasing due to population and other businesses that consume more power.
In her remarks, Rahinatu Aliyu from Dawakin Tofa Local Government’ Area told New Nigerian that ” we are really enjoying electricity supply in our residences and we are now trying to form an enlightenment committee among ourselves in order to ensure that our husbands pay bills regularly, and I commend the company’s leadership for all these successes.
