Eid-el-Fitr Celebrations: Benue Gov. Alia Felicitates With Muslim Ummah

The Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has felicitated with the Muslim community on the occasion of eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
He extends hearty greetings and profound congratulations to the Muslim community, as they mark the completion of this year’s Ramadan commemorating the 2025 Eid- al-Fitr celebrations.
Alia said: “Eid al-Fitr is a moment of celebration, gratitude, and meditation. It marks the completion of Ramadan, a month devoted to prayer, fasting, and measures of kindness.
“As you gather with family and friends to celebrate this momentous day, may it be filled with joy, peace, and unity”, he added.
He states further that, “We respect and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the Muslim community to the rich tapestry of our state, Benue. Your responsibility to humanity, service, and community development plays a significant part in fostering conformity and harmony among our diversified populace”.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, Governor Alia urged the Muslim faithful to use tthe Eid-al-Fitr to spread love, bountiful graces, happiness, and prosperity among their communities, and further stresses that the celebration should also inject into them the doctrines that encourage peace, tolerance, and mutual respect.
