Eid-el-Fitr Celebration: FG Declares March 31, April 1 As Public Holidays

The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
This is in recognition of the successful completion of Ramadan.
This announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, through a statement issued by the ministry’s permanent secretary, Magdalene Ajani, on Wednesday.
In his message, the Minister extended heartfelt congratulations to all Muslims, celebrating the end of a month of fasting and spiritual reflection.
He urged them to embrace the core values of self-discipline, compassion, generosity, and peace, stressing the importance of love, forgiveness, and solidarity as essential in fostering a more harmonious society.
