President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
Daylight Reporters gathered that Ize-Iyamu was led to the meeting by Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, who is also the chairman of APC Caretaker Committee.
Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi also accompanied the APC candidate to the villa.
It was however, observed that the immediate past National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who is also from Edo, was absence at the meeting.
It was also gathered that the meeting involved the presentation of the party flag to the APC Gubernatorial candidate in the coming Edo election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by President Buhari.
