The MSF delegation held a crucial meeting Monday with the Kebbi State Flood Disaster Management Committee at the office of the Commissioner for Environment, Alhaji Mohammed Musa Tungulawa.
In a statement by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Kebbi State Governor, Yahaya Sarki, State team included Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Halima Hassan and the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency, Abdullahi Abubakar.
During the meeting, Mr. Ezibon, accompanied by Project Coordinator Rayyahi Sani, expressed MSF’s commitment to assessing the situation and delivering swift assistance.

Mr. Ezibon assured that MSF would conduct a thorough evaluation based on the flood disaster reports provided by the state committee and determine the best course of action to assist the affected communities.
In response, the state officials expressed gratitude for MSF’s quick intervention and pledged full cooperation to ensure the team’s success.
The assessment team will visit Argungu, Gwandu, Shanga, and Bunza LGAs to further examine the health challenges faced by flood-displaced victims and tailor appropriate responses.
