Delta Gov. Brokers Lasting Peace Between Aladja, Ogbe-Ijoh

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has taken a major step towards resolving the long-standing Aladja/Ogbe-Ijoh land dispute.
On Saturday, he met with stakeholders from both communities at his Osubi residence. The meeting included members of the peace committee handling the crisis.
Both sides agreed to live peacefully and uphold the terms of settlement as the governor praised the elders and youths for their commitment to peace.
He assured them that an official pronouncement on the agreement would be made soon.
Community representatives expressed gratitude to the Governor for his intervention.
Earlier this week, the Delta State Executive Council approved the construction of the Aladja/Ogbe-Ijoh road to enhance movement between both communities.
