Dattuwa Distributes Empowerment Items To APC Members In Gombe

All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Financial Secretary, Dattuwa Ali Kumo, has distributed empowerment items to party members in Akko and Gombe local government areas of Gombe State.
Our correspondent reports that the items donated include 60 motorcycles, 65 sewing machines and 600 bags of fertiliser.
Speaking at the distribution ceremony held at APC square in Gombe, representative of the APC scribe, Dattuwa explained that each local government chairman and ward chairman of the party would go with one motorcycle.
He added that 10 motorcycles were for his political supporters group known as “Dattuwa Dawo Dawo” while five went to his friends and five to the office of the Chief of Staff to the state governor.
Dattuwa also noted that the 65 sewing machines were provided for women in both Gombe and Akko, aimed at empowering them economically.
“Additionally, 600 bags of fertiliser were distributed to beneficiaries for use in dry season farming, promoting agricultural development in the two areas.”, he stated.
Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya, represented by his Chief of Staff, Abubakar Kyari, said the gesture is a true interpretation of dividends of democracy and aligns with President Bola Tinubu and Governor Yahaya’s policies of economic empowerment to the youth.
In his remarks, the state APC chairman, Nitte Amangal, represented by his deputy, Baba Abuja, advised beneficiaries to utilise the items and not sell them.
He also urged other politicians especially office holders to emulate Dattuwa by giving back to the community.
