An APC chieftain in Bauchi State, Alhaji Aminu Tukur, on Saturday implored President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the crisis rocking the party in the state.
Tukur made the call while speaking with newsmen and said the president’s intervention was urgent to stabilise the party’s prospects in the state.
He said necessary actions must be taken to restore peace and orderliness in the leadership and within the fold of the party in the state.
He opined that the APC leadership in the state was overwhelmed by the divisions within the stalwarts and the members.
Tukur, however, urged the party members to remain focused and called on the leadership to reposition the party in the state for political gains.
