President Muhammadu Buhari says he shares in the joy of celebrations as Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, and Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, clock 64 years, Jan. 8, 2023.
President Buhari in a joint congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina on Saturday in Abuja, felicitated families, friends and associates of the ministers.
He noted the ministers had meritoriously served the country, making noticeable and commendable differences in their positions with humility and focus, further bringing government closer to the people.
The president acknowledged the stability, decency in allocations and predictability that the FCT Minister had restored in the capital city, through hard work and collaboration with stakeholders, especially local communities.
He commended Bello for opening up places for more infrastructural development, and attracting tourism opportunities for growth.
Buhari also extolled Tallen for pushing and ensuring actualisation of policies that favoured women and children, particularly the girl-child empowerment.
He also saluted her for remaining a strong voice for the campaigns against domestic violence, exploitation of children and equal opportunities in work places.
The president prayed for more of God’s blessings on Mohammed and Tallen.
