There was panic in Dukku local government area of Gombe State on Saturday night as gunmen suspected to be kidnappers attacked the area and abducted two persons.
The abductees were a man and a woman and were carted away by their captors in the midnight of Saturday when they raided the village shooting sporadically into the air.
A resident of the area Alhaji Sambo Umar Shabewa who spoke with DAYLIGHT REPORTERS revealed that his wife Amina Usman Aliyu and his brother, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Shabewa, his brother were the victims taken by the gunmen.
He said the kidnappers burgled the houses of the victims to abduct them.
The Spokesperson of the Gombe State Police Command, Mahid Muazu Abubakar when contacted on the matter said team of securities are trailing the kidnappershe would make sure that they did not escaped.
