Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has dissolved the State Executive Council with immediate effect.
The dissolution is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar-Yauri and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.
“His Excellency, the Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the dissolution of Kebbi State Executive Council with effect from Wednesday 7th September ,2022.” The statement reads .
While thanking the members of the dissolved cabinet for their services to the state, the governor said a new executive council will be formed in no distant time.
“While further commending all the Members of the dissolved Council or their performance, a reconstituted State Executive Council will be announced soon, with some of the Members of the dissolved Council as well as others outside the dissolved Council.” The statement further stated.
