One of the Jigawa state All Progressive Congress (APC) delegates to the party’s ongoing special convention and presidential primary, Alhaji Isah Baba Buji, slumped and died today, Tuesday, 7th June, in Abuja.
Buji, who is a delegate to the convention, is the APC’s Assistant Chairman in charge of Jigawa Southwest Zone, slumped in the morning at Jigawa state liaison office, Abuja while preparing to go to the venue of the APC special convention of among other delegates.
The Jigawa State APC Public Relations Officar, Bashir Kundu, confirmed the incident.
The Jigawa APC spokesman explained: “He (Buji) slumped at Jigawa State Liaison Office in Abuja and he was rushed to hospital where cretified dead before arriving the hospital”.
Kundu said although Buji was said to have died of heart failure the true cause of his death would be disclosed soon.
