Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted unidentified number of motorists plying Kaduna – Abuja highway on Sunday afternoon at about 3:53 pm.
A source who spoke to our reporter on phone disclosed that the incident happened few kilometers to Rijana Community.
The source who pleaded anonymity confirmed that two vehicles: Mecedez Benz E320 and a Toyota Corrona golden colour were seen at the point of the attack with their doors opened.
Although, he could not confirmed to us the whereabout of the people in those vehicles and how they were kidnapped.
“On our way to Kaduna, we discovered that other vehicles who are supposed to be on the other lane are making U- turn facing Kaduna. We also stopped and we discovered that the gunmen who were suspected to be gunmen have taken over the road and on reaching the point after the road was cleared we discovered that two vehicles; one Mecedez Benz and one Toyotal Corrona have been attacked,” the source said.
He further explained that normalcy has returned to the road with the help of soldiers who arrived at the scene.
As at the time of this report no official report from the police. Efforts to get confirmation from the Kaduna Police Command Public Relations Officer on phone proved abortive.
