The Gombe North Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Bello Chikasoro has resigned from active politics.
He announced his resignation from the PDP in a letter dated 13th December, 2022 and addressed to the Gombe State PDP Chairman.
According to him, the decision to quit his position was sue to his “personal commitments and tight schedules of activities”.
He thanked the party for the opportunity given to him to serve in various leadership positions. “I remain indebted and grateful to all and sundries”. He said
Chikasoro was the immediate past State Treasurer of the PDP before he emerged as Gombe North Zonal Chairman after the expiration of his tenure in 2019.
