The Director of Youths Mobilization of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Management Committee in Gombe State, Adamu Sulaiman Wantos has dumped the PDP and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Coming less than 24 hours to the FlaggingOff of the PDP campaign in the state, many considers the move a major blow to the PDP in Gombe State.
Announcing his defection to the APC in an interview with Vision FM Radio in Gombe, Wantos cited internal crisis and lack of direction by the PDP in the state as his reason for dumping it.
Wantos was announced as Director youths mobilisation of the PDP campaign council on the 23rd October 2022 alongside ex-Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Usman Bayero Nafada as Director General.
