Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe state, Alh. Abdulkadir Hammasaleh popularly call, Hamsal has resigned from the party.
In his resignation letter obtained by Daylight Reporters, dated June 19, Hammasaleh said his decision to leave the party is personal and hinges on the unity, development, and growth of our dear state, Gombe.
“I write with all sense of regards to your person, your office, your party to notify you of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“My decision to leave the party is personal and hinges on the unity, development, and growth of our dear state, Gombe.
“I wish the party well in her future political engagements.” The statement reads.
Hammasaleh has contested the October 2018 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election and later joined the APC before the 2019 general election.
