The immediate past Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, Alhaji Buba Shanu has resigned his membership of the party.
The former PDP scribe in a letter dated 9th September, 2022 and addressed to Waziri North ward PDP Chairman.
In the letter, Mr Shanu said his decision to dump the PDP was based on his perception that the PDP of the day is not in the interest of Gombe State.
“This is to intimate you of my resignation from membership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Events, actions and activities of officials and organs of the party at all levels have left me in no doubt that it can no longer serve and defend the interest of my people.” The letter reads in part.
