No fewer than six persons have died in a bomb blast, which rocked Malumfashi town in Katsina on Saturday morning.
The improvised explosion precisely went off in Yardagi village, Zango Local Government Area of the State.
It said the six persons killed at the farmland where the bomb was planted were.
It was also gathered that six other perons were injured and had been rushed to hospital, for treatment.
Katsina has largely been spared the Boko Haram war of bombing.
Rather it has been facing the twin problems of banditry and kidnapping.
