Hon. Samuel Markus Wina, member representing Pero Chonge Constituency under Shongom local government area in Gombe State has announced his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Until his resignation, Hon. Markus was the majority leader in the Gombe State House of Assembly.
Marcus, who announced his formal resignation from the APC in a letter dated 24th February 2022 and addressed to Gwandum Ward APC Chairman, became the second APC lawmaker from Gombe South zone to have resigned from the ruling party this month. Hon. Rambi Ibrahim Ayala who represents Billiri East Constituency in Gombe State House of Assembly resigned from the APC earlier on February 21st, 2022.
