Bauchi Signs Landmark Mining Deal with China’s Minsheng Group

In a groundbreaking ceremony, the Bauchi State Government and China-based Minsheng Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore and develop the state’s vast mineral resources.
This historic partnership aligns with Governor Bala Mohammed’s vision for mining and agriculture cooperation, aiming to unlock the state’s economic potential.
The partnership will facilitate the exploration and development of Bauchi State’s mineral resources, with the state government establishing a special purpose vehicle to maximise resource utilisation.
Minsheng Group has committed to sustainable growth and development, ensuring that the partnership benefits the state and its people.
According to the General Manager of Minsheng Group, “This marks a new dawn for Bauchi State’s mining sector.”
The state commissioner for natural resources, Muhammad Maiwada Bello expressed appreciation for Governor Mohammed’s level playing field, which facilitated the partnership.
He reaffirmed support of the ministry to explore more natural resources, aiming to improve the state’s economic status.
