Bauchi Renowned Family Celebrates Two New Professors

The illustrious family of late Talba Attahiru and Madaki Almu, descendants of the historic home of Alkali Aminu in Bauchi State, has celebrated two additional professors in the family.
The family’s academic excellence was celebrated during its second Bi-annual Reunion Party, held at the Double 4 Hall in Bauchi.
During the event, the family honoured the two new professors; Professor Alhaji Tahir, a mathematics professor at Modibbo Adama University, Yola and Professor Muhammed Mukhtar Aliyu, an associate professor of English at Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi with merit awards.
Our correspondent reports that the family’s first professor is the current Vice Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University Bauchi, Professor Fatima Tahir who is the first female professor in Bauchi local government.
Presenting the award to the new professors, one of the parents in the family, Bashiru Almustapha acknowledged their hard work and dedication to academic excellence.
He said the production of three professors from the same family is a testament to the value placed on education and the commitment to academic excellence.
“The family’s legacy serves as an inspiration to future generations and demonstrates the importance of hard work, perseverance, and dedication to achieving greatness,” he said.
In her remarks, Vice Chancellor of Sa’adu Zungur University, Professor Fatima Tahir, said the celebration of the two new professors marks a significant milestone in the family’s history, and their achievements will undoubtedly continue to inspire and motivate others to strive for excellence.
