Bauchi Police, Military Re-synegizes To Achieve Objectives, As New Constables Tasked On Professionalism, Integrity

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Mr Auwal Musa Muhammad has called for synergy with the newly appointed Commander, 33 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Bauchi, Brigadier General U. G. Simon.
This was contained in a statement by Bauchi State Command Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil.
During the visit to the command headquarters, Bauchi, Brigadier General Simon reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the existing positive relationship between the Brigade and the Police Command.
The Commander acknowledged the vital role the police play in maintaining internal security and highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between them in achieving shared objectives.
The Commissioner expressed appreciation for the Brigade commander’s willingness to work with the Police towards addressing criminal activities in the state.
He recalled that the partnership the command had with the outgoing Brigade Commander was fruitful, hoping that such productive collaboration would continue under the new leadership of the Brigade.
In another development, the Police Commissioner charged newly passed-out constables from the Police Training School, Yelwa, Bauchi, to uphold discipline and adhere to ethical standards of the Force in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
He said as indigenes of the state assigned to their respective local government areas, to serve in line with the vision of the IGP, Mr Kayode Egbetokun on community policing, must conduct themselves with integrity and respect in their interactions with the Public.
“You must serve as exemplary ambassadors of the Police Force by demonstrating civility, respecting human rights, and maintaining professionalism in all public interactions,” he emphasized.
Mr. Muhammad warned that any breaches to the expected conduct would result in severe disciplinary action.
