Bauchi Governor’s Son Threatens Journalist Over Investigation
By Najib Sani, Gombe
Shamsuddeen Mohammed, son of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has issued a stern warning to Wikki Times publisher Haruna Mohammed Salisu, threatening to make him his “enemy forever” if he publishes an investigation deemed false.
This warning came without Shamsuddeen hearing the questions Salisu wanted to ask him on the matter he investigates.
Shamsuddeen in an alleged audio conversation with the publisher, alleged that Salisu’s motivation for the investigation was due to lack of patronage or hidden paymasters.
He demanded Salisu to reveal his whereabouts, labeling him a coward if he fails to do so.
Furthermore, Shamsuddeen warned Salisu of legal action if he discloses his whereabouts.
The governor’s son, DAYLIGHT REPORTERS reports even before being told the matter under investigation retorted that he does not have company in Bauchi State, neither does he execute contracts in the state.
He however told the journalist to go ahead and do whatever he wants to do.
