Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has appointed a special assistant on unmarried women.
The appointment is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government Sabiu Baba and issued to the appointee Balaraba Ibrahim on Tuesday, a copy which was obtained by our correspondent.
According to the SSG, Mrs Balaraba who would be assisting the governor on single ladies was appointed based on her knowledge, experience and personal qualities.
“The appointment is based on your knowledge, experience and personal qualities of hard work, honesty and absolute loyalty”. He said.
He asked the newly appointed special assistant on unmarried women to utilize all her qualities in facing the challenges of her office to facilitate the attainment of the government’s collective goal and the expectation of the electorates.
“The terms and conditions of your appointment are as enunciated in the relevant goverment policies as applicable.
“While congratulating you on this well deserved appointment, I pray to the almighty God to guide and protect you in the discharge of the responsibilities of your new office. The appointment takes immediate effect, please”. The letter reads in parts
