Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar has expressed shock and sadness over the unfortunate death of the Nigeria’s first female war pilot, Tolulope Arotile.
In a statement published on his verified Facebook page, Atiku described the deceased as an inspirational who shattered the ceiling.
“Tolulope Arotile was an inspiration. She shattered the ceiling, and will always be our number 1. May she rest in the bosom of the Lord. And may the Almighty God grant the Arotile family and all her loved ones the comfort to bear this loss.” The statement reads.
Recall that late Tolulope Arotile died on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, as a result of head injuries sustained from a road accident at Nigerian Airforce base in Kaduna
