The Arewa Youth Forum, has commended the action of Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike for declaring one of the leaders of IPOB, Stanley Mgbere wanted with a N50 million bounty for his arrest.
In a statement signed by the National President of the Forum, Hon. Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu on Sunday, he explained that Wike’s action is very encouraging and a great potential toward effective consolidation of the historical bridging across the Northern Region and it’s South South partners.
According to the statement, “as keenly observed by the Forum, the latest IPOB murderous attacks on the Oyigbo Community of the State that host substantial Arewa Community interest. The swift action of reinforcing the banning of IPOB in Rivers State is highly commendable and appreciated by the Forum.
“The Forum further commend Governor Wike as he declared the IPOB Leader and the Murderer-in-Chief of the Oyigbo mayhem Stanley Mgbere wanted with a N50 million bounty for his arrest.
“The Forum further urged Governor Wike to remain resolute in restoring the extraordinary status of Rivers State in the State’s historical unique role in Nigerian integration Project.” The statement reads.
