APGA, ACCORD Win 5 Councillors, as APC Clears All Chairmanship Seats in Jigawa LG Elections

Two opposition parties won five councillorship seats as ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) won all the 27 Chairmanship and 281 out of 287 councillorship seats contested by 11 political parties in last Saturday local government council election held in Jigawa state.
APGA won the councillorship seat of Margadu Ward in Guri local government, while Accord Party won four councilorship seats.
