The expelled former national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Prince Hilliard Eta, has reacted to his expulsion from the party, saying a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa has no power to expel him.
The NEC meeting had expelled Eta from the APC for taken its leadership to court, asking that he should be recognised as the acting chairman of the party.
When contacted to comment on his expulsion by the NEC, ETA said lawyers among those who attended the meeting ought to have told the NEC that they cannot expel him.
”Their action is a nullity because it isn’t even the NEC of the party that met. ” Their so called acting national secretary has no power to convene NEC.”

”I am already in Court. The lawyers amongst them should have told them that they can’t make that pronouncement since I am in Court.
