Again, National Power Grip Collapses, 10th this Year
The National electricity grid has yet again collapsed Thursday morning leaving the country in another round of surge.
This is the 10th time the national grid has collapsed this year.
The Independent System Operator parameters are showing zero output on its system since the collapse happened around 11:35am haven produced about 2,323 megawatt before the plunged.
The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company notified its customers of the grid collapse at about 11:30 am stressing that it has affected supply.
DAYLIGHT REPORTERS reports that national power grid collapsed on Sunday, February 4, Thursday, March 28, Monday, April 15, Saturday, July 16 and Monday, August 5.
Other days are Monday, October 14, Tuesday, October 15, Saturday, October 19, Tuesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 7.
