Brely two days after the gruesome murder of an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim H. Musa (Albanin Gombe) by suspected Kalare thugs in his House in Gombe, an officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, (NSCDC), Corporal Aminu Musa was attacked by the thugs.
Narrating his ordeal to Daylight Reporters, the victim who is admitted and receiving treatment at the Gombe Specialists Hospital, said he was attacked around 8:00pm in Bolari area of Gombe metropolis on Thursday night.
He said, “I was called on phone by one Amir and on meeting him, some thugs who were hiding attacked me with matchets where I sustained injuries on my head.
“It was organised and premeditated attack and the identity of the assailants is known, they’ll be apprehended and brought to book”.
It could be recalled that suspected thugs have killed an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim Musa at his Nasarawo residence Tuesday night.
A12:00pm to 6:00am curfew was imposed by the Nigerian police to check the raising incidences of house breaking, robbery and phone snatching.
