A tragic incident has shaken the Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State, as a lady was found hanging from a tree in a bush on Friday.
The lifeless body was discovered swinging on Friday morning leaving the community in shock.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman’s identity remains unknown, sparking speculation about the circumstances surrounding her death.
Some residents alleged that she committed suicide while others opined that she might have been killed by hoodlums and then hanged.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Buhari Abdullahi, has confirmed the incident, promising to provide further details later.
The police described the incident as a suicide act.
