Ramadan: Matawalle Supports Over 5,000 Zamfara Citizens

In a remarkable gesture aimed at alleviating hardship during the holy month of Ramadan, over 5,000 individuals have benefited from substantial cash disbursements, totalling over Five Hundred Million Naira (N500,000,000), with each individual taking home no less than One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) from the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Lawal Umar Maradun, Head, Media Team, Matawallen Maradun Secretariat.
The beneficiaries were carefully selected by a Team led by Hon. Ibrahim Maigandi (Danmalikin Gidan Goga, the Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Minister.
The team comprises party leaders, technocrats, academics, and youth leaders, to ensure a fair distribution of the funds across local government areas of Zamfara.
“The far-reaching impact of this initiative has touched numerous households, groups, and communities within Zamfara State. This initiative builds on the philanthropic activities of His Excellency (Dr.) Bello Matawalle as earlier witnessed during his last visit in December last year,” the statement read in part.
During that visit, Matawalle disbursed over one billion naira (1,000,000,000), offering as support to countless individuals, party stalwarts, and groups, effectively bringing the state to a standstill in awe of his generosity and commitment to supporting his people.
Reading further, the statement said, “Matawalle’s unmatched magnanimity is making a lasting impact, reaffirming his position as a beacon of hope for Zamfara people in any challenging time.
