Speaker Abbas Mourns Sheikh Jingir

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen has expressed sorrow over the passing of the deputy national chairman of the Ulama Council of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) which has its headquarters in Jos, Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir.
The Speaker in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi on Friday, described the late Sheikh Jingir as a renowned scholar who dedicated his life to the teaching of Islam among thousands of adherents.
Speaker Abbas noted that with the passing of Sheikh Jingir, the Islamic community in Nigeria has lost of one of its committed scholars.
He recalled the invaluable contributions of the late Islamic scholar to the society during his days of da’awah in the nooks and crannies of Northern Nigeria.
He prayed to Allah to reward the late Islamic scholar with Jannatul Firdaus. He equally sent heartfelt condolences to the Izala family over the loss.
