Ramadan: Gombe Philanthropist, Bala Tinka, Assists 1,372 People With Food, Cash

A renowned politician and philanthropist in Gombe State, Dr Bala Bello Tinka, has distributed food items and cash to beneficiaries for this fasting period of Ramadan expected to commence on Saturday.
According to his media aide, Abdullahi Muhammad Lalas, a total of 1,372 people benefitted from the gesture, and this is the first batch of such assistance for the fasting period.
He explained that the first batch consists of his household members, residents of Dawaki Makeran Farfaru community and his staff of Tinka Point Limited.
He added that the beneficiaries received rice, maize, millet, beans and the sum of N10,000 each totalling N13,720,000 million.
“This is the first batch, with subsequent batches to follow, including beneficiaries from urban areas of Funakaye, Deba, and others.”, he said.
