Agwai Poly Information Director Urges Students To Be Of Good Character

The Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, Mukhtar Wakeel, has enjoined students of the institution to prioritise enriching their behaviours in a positive light to succeed.
He stressed that any student who is bereft of good character and requisite knowledge is not qualified to be a graduate.
Wakeel disclosed this when the Polytechnic’s leadership of the National Association of Polytechnics’ Accounting Students, (NAPAS) paid him a courtesy visit.
He charged the students to be loyal and law-abiding to constituted authorities by shunning acts capable of retarding their progress.
He urged them to live above board in order not to jeopardize their future and that of humanity.
Wakeel, a former Acting Registrar of the institution, said since the coming on board of Dr. Nurudeen Mu’azu Maifata as Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, the institution has been recording a significant milestone in the areas of academic, infrastructure development and human resource productivity.
Earlier, President of NAPAS, Comrade Musa Asele Sadam, congratulated him on his successful re-election as representative of the Polytechnic Congregation in the recently reconstituted Governing Council of the institution chaired by Prof. Muhammad Sanusi Liman, pledging their unflinching support and loyalty.
In a vote of thanks, General Secretary of NAPAS, Comrade Omame Sunday Emmanuel, appreciated Wakeel for being a student-friendly administrator, adding that the student community is proud of him.
