Gombe Gov’t Empowers Civil Servants With Retirement Planning Skills

In a bid to ensure its civil servants are well-equipped to face retirement and emergency challenges, the Gombe State Ministry for Local Government and Community Development has organised a 3-day workshop.
Theme “Secure Your Future: Retirement for a Better Tomorrow”, the workshop held in collaboration with Prime Tech Solutions Industries, brought together over 50 participants, including Deputy Heads of Administration from various local government areas.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop, the state commissioner for local government and community development, represented by his special adviser, Garba Mohammed Ubale, emphasised the importance of retirement planning and emergency preparedness.
He said the state government is committed to ensuring that its citizens are well-equipped to face retirement and emergency challenges.
In his speech, the chief consultant of Prime Tech Solutions Industries, Professor Mansur Malumfashi said they are proud to partner with the Gombe State Government on this important initiative, saying the workshop will have a positive impact on the lives of citizens and contribute to the overall development of the state.
The workshop featured presentations and discussions on retirement planning, emergency preparedness, risk management, and more.
Participants praised the organisers for providing a valuable learning experience and Gombe State government’s commitment to empowering them with essential skills.
